So when it comes to that succulent leftover turkey, what produce pairs best? The answer is probably debatable, but our CA Grown team all agreed on the list below. We guarantee that these are the California-grown flavors that will take your turkey leftover recipes to the next level.

  1. California apples with their sweet and tangy notes pair perfectly with both sweet and savory recipes like this one.
  2. Crunchy California walnuts lend a toasted, earthy depth of flavor that pairs perfectly with most of the Thanksgiving ingredients we can think of. If you happen to have an abundance of walnuts on hand after the holiday, you should totally try our Walnut Taco Filling.
  3. Juicy California table grapes add brilliant bursts of flavor and crisp texture to our favorite chicken salad, so why not try them with turkey, too?
  4. Crunchy, aromatic California celery. We honestly don’t think celery gets enough love. Whether you juice it, make a salad, or mix up a wine-based cocktail, it doesn’t matter. Just allow yourself to explore this often-overlooked vegetable.

Step by Step How To Make This Easy Recipe With Turkey Leftovers
