Grilling a peach imparts BIG flavor that is unparalleled by other preparation methods! A grilled peach is satisfyingly smoky and shockingly sweet all at the same time. Perfect for a margarita! Like your cocktails spicy? Add grilled jalapeno from the garden which imparts a bit of heat to the mix too.
When are peaches in season in California?
Fresh peach season in California is May through October, but did you know that all canned peaches are from California? That’s right! You can find canned California peaches year-round in your local grocery store.
This margarita recipe is so easy to make you will have it on repeat for the entire summer season! Grilled peaches come together in less than a hot minute (pun intended) and quickly get whirled in the blender with a few other simple ingredients to make an irresistible peach margarita mix.
How to make Grilled Peach Margaritas step-by-step:
Only a few simple steps stand between you and this beautifully refreshing summer drink. Make it for yourself or share it with guests!
Grill peaches & jalapeno.
Halve three whole peaches and remove the pit. Slice one of the halves into four spears for a garnish.
Grill the peaches and whole pepper as directed in the recipe box below.
Blend.
Place the peaches, charred jalapeno, juice of one whole lemon, tequila, and simple syrup into a blender and blend on high for one minute or until desired consistency.
Prepare the glasses.
Use another lemon to moisten the rim of the glasses and dip them into margarita salt if using.
Serve and sip!
Add ice cubes to the prepared glass then pour the margarita mixture over the top.
Garnish with a grilled peach wedge or grilled jalapeno slice if desired. Happy sipping!

Grilled Peach Margarita
Equipment
- Grill or grill pan
- Blender
Ingredients
- 3 peaches non-cling
- 2 jalapenos
- 2 lemons
- 1 cup tequila
- 1/3 cup simple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat until extra hot.
- Halve the peaches and remove the pits. Cut one of the halves into wedges. Halve one jalapeno. Place on hot grill and cook until desired char, about 4 minutes.
- Place the peaches and jalapeno into a blender and add the juice of one lemon, the simple syrup, and tequila. Blend on high for at least a minute or until desired consistency.
- Place in the fridge while you get the glasses ready.
- Moisten the rim of each glass with a cut lemon. Dip into margarita salt. Add several cubes of ice to the glass.
- Once the peach mixture has cooled, pour into each glass.
- Take the charred wedge and skewer onto a skewer. Place in drink and garnish with an additional sliced jalapeno.
