This easy Canned Peach Cobbler is simple to pull together and incredibly delicious – all year round! Serve it with a dollop of whipped cream, a scoop of ice cream or even just a cup of coffee.
Cravings…. sometimes they set in and won’t go away until they are satisfied.
So goes with Peach Cobbler for the hubs.
We love Peach anything in the summer but when the need for something peachy happens in the dead of winter, we can easily turn to California Canned Cling Peaches!
This canned peach cobbler recipe is quick and you probably already have the ingredients in your pantry!
Let’s get this party started…
Let’s Make Canned Peach Cobbler:
Melt a stick of butter in the microwave in a medium-sized bowl.
Add the sugar and flour to the butter, and mix to incorporate.
Next add in the Real California milk.
Stir to mix it all together. There will be a few lumps… that’s just fine!
Pour the batter into a cast iron skillet.
If you don’t have one, you can just use a rectangular baking dish or a 10 inch round one.
Time to add the fruit to our canned peach cobbler:
Pour the canned peaches, syrup and all, on top of the batter and bake for 50-60 minutes or until cooked through.
Remove from the oven and allow to sit for about 10 minutes before diving in!
I serve the cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and top with toasted pecans. You could also serve it with this homemade canned peach ice cream! I’d add a dash of cinnamon to the ice cream for extra flavor.
Canned peach cobbler is also fabulous with whipped cream, or just a cup of coffee.
Make it this weekend!
