How to Make a Strawberry Wine Slushy!
Prep the California Strawberries!
Remove stems and cores from the strawberries. You can use a pairing knife or a small strawberry huller like in the picture.
Cleanliness is key!
Thoroughly rinse the strawberries to remove any residue or stray leaves.
Let them chill!
Place the prepared strawberries on a baking sheet making sure to not overcrowd. Place the tray in the freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours.
Time to put the wine in the slushy!
We used Sauvignon Blanc, but you can use any of the versatile California white wines that the Golden State has to offer.
We certainly aren’t lacking in that department!
Time to indulge!
Once the strawberries are frozen, place them in a blender along with the sugar and white wine, then puree until smooth.
Pour directly into individual glasses and enjoy! These drinks are super fun. The perfect libation for any occasion. We personally suggest serving up this wine slushy recipe for lounging poolside on the weekend.
