These Magical Mini Unicorn Smoothies may look like dessert, but they’re packed with healthy ingredients like Real California Yogurt, Milk and fresh and frozen fruit.
Made with Real California dairy and frozen Golden State fruit, these smoothies can be made year round – sprinkles optional, but encouraged!

These fruity Unicorn Smoothies are packed with real goodness!
The colors here are all natural from raspberries, blueberries and optional blue spirulina. The fruit pairs with protein and calcium loaded Real California dairy products, which bring creamy high quality texture too.

Here’s what you need:
Of course, you can buy frozen fruit. But it’s really simple to freeze your own berries too, and you know just how ripe it is and what’s you’re getting. No matter if your blueberries come in fresh or frozen, be sure to make sure they are California or US grown!
For the Fruit Smoothies:
- Real California Plain or Vanilla Yogurt
- crushed ice
- frozen raspberries
- frozen blueberries
- banana
- Real California Milk
- blue spirulina powder, optional
For the Unicorn Topping:
- Real California Heavy Cream
- sugar
- vanilla extract
- orange wedge
- rainbow sugar sprinkles
- unicorn sprinkles
Look for the Real California Milk seal!
Every product stamped with the Real California Milk Seal is made with wholesome dairy from the Golden State, where 99% of dairy farms are family-owned. Plus, California dairies are worldwide leaders in sustainability efforts, sharing best practices, innovations, and technologies such as methane digesters with other states and nations.

How can kids help?
Kids can help make the smoothies – although the waiting might be tough! Have them measure the ingredients, add them to the blender, help rim the glasses, find the unicorn horns in the sprinkles (or make them!) Kiddos can also help make the whipped cream by measuring and looking for peaks to form, and older kids can use a spoon to make the layers. No matter the age, anyone can taste-test!
What if I don’t have Unicorn sprinkles or another ingredient?
Raspberries can be subbed for strawberries, and you can use a bit of water or milk to rim the glass if you haven’t got an orange. If you can’t find Unicorn sprinkles, you can use a think pretzel rod and push it into the top of the whipped cream.
Now, let’s make Magical Mini Unicorn Smoothies!
These are “mini” 8 ounce smoothies sized for kids. If you want a larger serving size, make three 12 ounce or two 16 ounce servings.
Once you’ve tried Unicorn Smoothies, try Rainbow Roll Cake and Fun Food Art too.

- Make the blue layer. Add all ingredients into a blender and pulse until smooth, scraping down the sides of the blender with a spatula once or twice to make sure everything is incorporated. Pour the mixture into a medium mixing bowl and set in the freezer to chill.
- Make the whipped cream. Put the cream in a medium bowl and beat until soft peaks form. Add the sugar and vanilla and continue to beat until stiff peaks form.
