Why You Should Visit Majestic Oak Vineyard in Ojai
Picture this: a subterranean patio strung with good energy, a glass of Syrah in hand, and zero pretension in sight. That’s the vibe at Majestic Oak Vineyard, a family-owned tasting room tucked just off the main drag in downtown Ojai.

The Wine Tasting Room in Ojai that You’ll Be So Glad You Found
The outdoor spaces feel like someone’s well-loved backyard — in the best way. Inside, the tasting room is intimate and easygoing, the kind of place where you can enjoy a flight with an engaging staff that is happy to talk about Majestic Oak Vineyard, its wines, and why it is such a standout in the region.

A Family Operation Worth Knowing About
Majestic Oak Vineyard has been doing this since 2016, pouring its wines made from grapes grown on an estate vineyard planted back in 2008. The winery takes its name from an ancient oak tree that has stood over the family for generations, through raising horses, family weddings, and everything in between. That same unpretentious, people-first spirit carries through every bottle.
The lineup includes estate-grown wines like Sauvignon Blanc, Grenache Blanc, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon, and the good news is that you don’t need extensive wine knowledge or vocabulary to enjoy any of them. The friendly staff is happy to share their wealth of knowledge and suggestions for tastings with you.

What to Expect at the Tasting Room
The tasting room has outdoor seating across multiple levels — a subterranean patio, an indoor space, and an upper deck — all centrally located in downtown Ojai, within walking distance of just about everything. Majestic Oak Vineyard has taken home Best of Ojai Gold Winner honors from the Ojai Valley News for two consecutive years, in 2023 and 2024. That kind of repeated recognition means you know you’re in for an excellent experience when visiting.
