Celebrate the International Year of the Woman Farmer with Cherry Bombe and CA GROWN at Farmers & Makers weekend. Join us September 25-27 in Paso Robles for this unforgettable event highlighting female farmers, chefs and tastemakers. California agriculture will be well represented throughout the event, with California Grown growers and producers from across the Golden State, CDFA Secretary Karen Ross, and several California wineries and winemakers joining in on the fun. 

CA GROWN at Farmers and Makers

From mingling and market browsing to hands-on learning, great food and plenty of California wine, there’s a lot to experience at Farmers & Makers. Here’s a little taste of what you can expect: 

Mix & Mingle

On Friday night, get the party started at the Austin Hope & Treana Tasting Cellar. Hosted by yours truly, the CA GROWN Welcome Party is the place to see and be seen. Savor a glass (or two) of your favorite Austin Hope wine and enjoy perfectly paired small bites. Whether you’re interested in networking or just talking shop with fellow food lovers, this is sure to be a night to remember. 

Shop, Sip & Sample

If you’re a fan of Farmers Markets or specialty food fairs, the Farmers & Makers Market offers the best of both worlds! Spend Saturday afternoon strolling through the open-air marketplace, sipping on California wines and shopping for amazing artisan goods. It’s also the perfect opportunity to sample products from female-owned farm and food businesses.  

Listen & Learn

Over the course of the weekend, Cherry Bombe will moderate panels and discussions featuring agricultural innovators, culinary trailblazers and CDFA Secretary Karen Ross!

Dinner & Dessert

Saturday and Sunday night, join us for dinner! Cherry Bombe invites guests to experience seasonal, local meals prepared by some of the most sensational women in the culinary world.

She’s My Cherry Pie: After Dark

On Saturday, our friends at California Prunes host She’s My Cherry Pie: After Dark. Enjoy a custom tasting menu created by James Beard Award winner Chef Sarah Thompson of Casa Playa at Wynn Las Vegas. Then, savor signature desserts from some of the nation’s top female bakers. Look for sweet treats from Kyra Johnson of Kyra’s Bake Shop, Rose Wilde of Red Bread, and Traci Alderson of Brown Butter Cookie Company.

Supper Club

Wrap up the weekend at Sunday evening’s Supper Club. This event will honor the International Year of the Woman Farmer with Whole Foods market. Indulge in cocktail hour, dinner and dessert while learning more about how regenerative agriculture impacts the future of food and farming.
