1/2tspPiment d' Ville chile powder, or your favorite chile powder.
1/2tspcoarse kosher salt
1/4tspfreshly ground black pepper
2-3TBSPwateroptional
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients, except for the water, to a food processor fitted with the 'S' blade. Pulse a few times to break up the larger ingredients and then blend until smooth. If you want to thin out the Avocado Crema for more of a drizzling consistency, add the water one tablespoon at a time, blending after each addition, until the desired consistency is achieved.

Notes
To store: This crema will keep for 3 days in an air-tight container in the refrigerator. Oxidation should not be an issue with this recipe, but if you are concerned simply press a piece of plastic wrap directly on the surface of the crema before placing a lid on top to store.
