- 2 7-8 ounce cheese rounds OR 1 large Brie round (We used Cowgirl Creamery Mt. Tam)
- 1/2 cup California medjool dates about 6, chopped
- 1/2 cup California walnuts chopped & toasted
- 10 leaves fresh sage sliced thin
- 1 TBSP honey add more if needed
- 1 TBSP balsamic vinegar
Bring the cheese to room temp OR bake in a 350 F (170 C) degree oven for 10 minutes
Combine the dates, walnuts, sage, honey and balsamic vinegar until well combined
Place the cheese on a serving platter and top with the date mixture.
Serve immediately
