Marinating Meats in Pickle Brine: A Flavor Explosion

Your fried chicken or pan-seared pork can get a flavor upgrade  with jalapeno pickle juice. Use it as a marinade to make the meat tender and infused with a unique blend of spiciness and tanginess. Trust us; this is a game-changer in the world of marinades. We recently used the brine from our Jalapeno Pickles to make Pickle-Brined Fried Chicken for an EPIC salad that is flavorful and filling. Here is how we did it:

Lightly drizzle olive oil over chicken tenders.

Pour pickle juice over the chicken to cover.

Allow the chicken to marinade for at least 2 hours, but its best to marinate overnight for maximum flavor.

Remove the chicken from the brine.

Pat dry with paper towels.

Bread the marinated tenders.

Fry until perfectly golden brown.

How To Assemble Our Jalapeno Pickle Brined Fried Chicken Salad

Arrange leafy greens on a platter & begin to layer on remaining ingredients like roasted sweet potato.

Add the rest of your chosen toppings to the salad: black beans, tomatoes, pico de gallo, toasted walnuts, & carrots.

Don’t forget to add a few pickled jalapeno peppers & your pickle brined chicken!

Drizzle with the vinaigrette.

Serve immediatley. Leftovers will keep in the fridge for up to 2 days.
