When the temperature starts to climb, and you're looking for ways to beat the heat, try this patriotic fruit and yogurt-laced popsicle recipe.
Place yogurt, simple syrup, cherries and lime zest in a blender and blend. Place some of the mixture into the bottom of each mold. Freeze for 20 minutes.
For the Blue Layer
Click the learn more tab at the bottom of the screen to find out what fruits to use if cherries aren’t in season, or you aren’t a cherry fan!
Scoop vanilla yogurt into each mold. Freeze for another 20 minutes.
For the White Layer
Rinse the blender and combine yogurt with sliced strawberries and simple syrup. Blend. Add some of the strawberry mixture to the molds. Add the popsicle sticks and secure.
For the Red Layer
Freeze for 6-8 hours or until frozen solid.
