CA GROWN Fuji apples are sautéed until tender and caramelized with California raisins, warm cinnamon, and a touch of honey for a simple skillet dessert that's perfect spooned over creamy yogurt. This cozy dish comes together in minutes and celebrates the natural sweetness of two California favorites.
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the Fuji apples and salt then cook for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples begin to soften and lightly caramelize.
Stir in the lemon juice, raisins, honey, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the raisins are plump and the apples are tender and glossy.
Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
Divide the Greek yogurt among serving bowls and spoon the warm cinnamon apple raisin mixture over the top.
Garnish with an additional sprinkle of cinnamon and serve immediately.
