Sizzling Cinnamon Apple Raisin Skillet

Ingredients
 
 

  • 3 medium Fuji apples peeled, cored, and diced
  • 2 TBSP unsalted butter
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 TBSP fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 2 TBSP honey
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups plain or vanilla Greek yogurt for serving
  • Additional ground cinnamon for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the Fuji apples and salt then cook for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples begin to soften and lightly caramelize.
  • Stir in the lemon juice, raisins, honey, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the raisins are plump and the apples are tender and glossy.
  • Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Divide the Greek yogurt among serving bowls and spoon the warm cinnamon apple raisin mixture over the top.
  • Garnish with an additional sprinkle of cinnamon and serve immediately.
